As the country’s Centre of Vocational Excellence for Print, we’re dedicated to providing print courses and quality print training to companies and individuals alike.

We are committed to improving access to printing technology courses and print training for the print and packaging industry. In addition to our excellent portfolio of in-college courses, we have developed a range of award winning online learning (e-learning) packages – enabling trainees to access their print course from work and at home.

CoVE

The Print Academy is part of the college’s Centre of Vocational Excellence in Print Media.

Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) are areas of specialist provision characterised by close links with employers, business partners and other educational establishments. It is a government initiative aimed at addressing skills shortages through meeting employer needs by focusing on developing appropriately skilled and qualified personnel.

Being awarded this status reflects the fact that Leeds City College is one of best colleges in the country for Print Media training and recognises the expertise, skills and the facilities that are on offer at the college.
