Health & Safety Courses for the Print Industry
A number of courses that are suitable for the printing industry can be delivered by Leeds City College.
For a number of years these have been successfully delivered a number of clients from large multiples to small / medium sizes enterprises. These companies include : Arla Foods UK, NSPCC, West Yorkshire Police, Bradford Hospitals NHS Trust, Bewleys Hotel, Scottish & Southern Energy, Leeds University, Leeds Metropolitan University and Wagamama.
These courses regularly start throughout the year and include;
- Health & Safety
- CIEH Level 2 Award in Heath & Safety in the Workplace – 1 Day
- CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate – 1 Day
- IOSH Managing Safely – 4 days
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health – 15 days
- CIEH Level 2 Risk Assessment Award – 1 day
- CIEH Principles of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) – 1 day
- CIEH Level 2 Award in Manual Handling – Principle and Practices – ½ day
- CIEH Level 2 Conflict Resolution – 1 day
- HSE Approved First Aid at Work – 4 day
- First Aid
- Appointed persons / Emergency First Aid – 1 day
- Fire Wardens – 1 day course
- Health & Safety for Cleaners & Caretakers. – ½ day. All candidates must have completed the Level 2 CIEH Health & Safety Certificate
